Hersh Mannis LLP is very proud to announce that Theresa (Terry) Steen a seasoned family law litigator, has joined the firm.
Ms. Steen specializes in complex matters involving high net worth clients and high conflict custody issues, which requires a broad scope of knowledge including trust and estates, business, real estate and bankruptcy laws that intersect with family law. Ms. Steen also has experience with LGBTQ, interstate, and international family law issues. Although Ms. Steen is comfortable litigating in the court room, she takes pride in her history of resolving even the most contentious cases through mediation.
Ms. Steen earned her J.D. degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in May of 2007 and is a member of the USC Chapter of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Steen earned her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science (Summa Cum Laude) degrees from Eastern New Mexico University.
Ms. Steen is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Family Law Section and the Los Angeles County Bar Association Family Law Section.
Immediately prior to joining Hersh Mannis in November of 2018, Ms. Steen took a one-year sabbatical to travel to Patagonia, Antarctica, and Southern and Eastern Africa, including the “eighth continent,” Madagascar.
