a_9000A select group of 100 Los Angeles influencers were in attendance including important thought leaders in artistic, entertainment and banking circles on Tuesday, January 12, 2016  at HERSH MANNIS’ cocktail reception and panel discussion on the legal and financial landscape under the 2015 Supreme Court Marriage Equality Ruling.

Partners and attorneys of HERSH MANNIS LLP and Morgan Stanley’s top managers headed up by Beverly Hills’ Associate Vice President, Kelvin Duckett were in attendance. Entitled, “THE NEW FRONTIER: MARRIAGE EQUALITY AND THE MODERN FAMILY’, the evening event received underwriting and press on behalf of exclusive media partner, ANGELENO Magazine.  Bentley Beverly Hills staff greeted guests with valet parking services in iconic Angeleno style and Project Angel Food was the evening’s honorary philanthropy.  The Museum of Contemporary Art and The Broad opened their doors to the evening’s guests with exclusive after-hours educated tours of their collections.

Attendees then enjoyed signature blood-orange martinis, paired with eclectic and tasteful dining throughout the museum space converted Leventhal Boardroom courtesy of The Lemonade Group.

Later in the evening, MOCA’s Ahamanson Theatre opened its doors to guests and program presenters, HM firm partners, Joseph Mannis, Neal Raymond Hersh and HM’s seasoned attorney, Marc  Andre’ Bertet of the firm who tackled the highly relevant legal and contractual issues under the new law.

The esteemed Kelvin Duckett,  Morgan Stanley’s  Associate Vice President articulated the emerging financial landscape post-SCOTUS and opportunities of the new law which are highly beneficial to many individuals.
