Teresa Lin is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience in all phases of litigation including discovery, law and motion, and trial preparation in both federal and state courts. Prior to joining Hersh Mannis, Ms. Lin served as a Legal Research Attorney for the Family Division of the Santa Clara County Superior Court, where she analyzed motions and provided recommendations to judicial officers on a variety of issues in family cases. She also served as the Managing Editor of the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review when she attended the University of Michigan Law School.
In 2017, Ms. Lin was named in Variety magazine’s annual Legal Impact report for her contribution and impact in setting new legal precedent in California on issues concerning the use of peremptory challenges in family law cases, and achieving success for clients in the entertainment industry through favorable settlement agreements. Ms. Lin was also recognized by the national magazine for her zeal and dedication to diversity in and out of the courtroom.
During her free time, Ms. Lin likes to give back to her community, which includes volunteering her services for the LACBA Domestic Violence Project. Ms. Lin speaks Mandarin.
